I'm talking about the real version of this show, the one hosted by Dick Clark (and at nighttime for a while by Bill Cullen). Yeah, you know that show. The subject line of this post, by the way, is from a Pyramid card that Mr. Clark had framed in his office when I worked for him. It was from some kind of April Fool's Day prank played on a celebrity contestant, giving him an impossible topic to describe. Dick told me the victim was William Shatner but game show experts tell me it was Clifton Davis. I think Shatner would have been more fun.
