This is a 1991 interview with game show producer Mark Goodson about the Blacklist in television. Goodson was like many producers of the fifties, intimidated by the pressures and demands to fire (or not hire in the first place) actors and writers who because of leftist leanings and associations were accused of being Communists. Unlike many producers though, Mr. Goodson eventually began to rebel against the practice and became one of the main forces in battling it.
