Garry Trudeau, creator of the comic strip Doonesbury gives about one televised interview in each century. This century's takes place next week on Up Close With Ted Koppel — a two-part interview airing over two nights. Which two nights? That's hard to say. For some reason, though the shows they do are taped in advance and are rarely topical, the Up Close people seem to only publicize guests at the last minute. This may help explain why almost no one is watching. Our best guess at the moment is that the first part will be the episode that airs late Tuesday night but is actually Wednesday morning.
