I love film and fotos of old Las Vegas. Here's a few minutes from 1961 and the guy you'll see getting pushed into the pool and hanging out with George Burns is Bob Mills, who was a local TV host in San Diego. There are shots of all the major hotels then and the only one that's still there is the Flamingo. I was going to write that everything in this film has changed since but then I realized that the roulette tables look pretty much the same these days. Especially when they land on any number but yours.
I'll bet you see at least one show you wish you could have seen on one of the marquees…
