Carl Gottlieb was involved with the famed improv troupe, The Committee…he wrote for the controversial Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour on CBS (and other shows)…and he was even an actor in the movie, M*A*S*H. Later, he wrote movies like Jaws and The Jerk and became an important presence in Hollywood labor relations. Joe, The Transformers, Iron Man and dozens more of those as well.
