So Victor Huang was free diving (not scuba diving) near the Wahine Memorial in Wellington, New Zealand. He was using a brand new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2 to shoot video when suddenly, an octopus grabbed it out of his hands and took off with it…with the camera still running.
