Lyn Nofziger was a biggie in the administrations and campaigns of Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon. (He's the guy who took command the day Reagan was shot, Al Haig was sweating buckets and the TV news channels began broadcasting erroneous reports that the President was undergoing open heart surgery.)
