Sincere-sounding phone call from high muckety-muck at airline. Many apologies. Pilot had already reported hysterical flight attendant. I need not send letter to CEO. She has done this before and has been reprimanded again and threatened with dismissal. I need not send letter to CEO. He is aware of problem and discussions are under way.
